| This 1997 photo of the Boston Depot was contributed by William Bunch. Thanks Bill. The following comments are by Jim Taylor. The Boston depot which sat along Hwy. 71 for years, was moved to the "The Heart of the Heartlands" museum in Carona, KS. TV crews were there and the works. They plan to restore it, they restored the old Carona MP depot. This is along the old MP Nevada-Coffeyville "cut-off" line, now operated by the Kansas & Oklahoma RR. Carona is about 7 miles north & 2 miles west of Columbus on Hwy. 7. |
