| Howard | MKT | 1962 Exists |
| This 1962 photo was contributed by, and the comments below are by Gary Roe. Thanks Gary. This Depot is on the MKT Moberly Branch which runs from New Franklin to Moberly. This line was abandoned in the early 1970s. Burton is 6.7 miles north of Fayette. I received the following comments from Gary Bagby in Sept 2006. Thanks Gary. This little Burton Depot still exists. It was purchased by a farmer whose land adjoined the Katy right-of-way and was moved up the hill about a quarter-mile to be used for the storage of cattle feed. Though it is in very poor condition today, it's unique roof line still reveals it's original purpose. |

| This 1910 photograph of the Burton Depot was contributed by William Bunch. Thanks Bill. The following comments are his. This photo came from Pearline Banning, who was the station Agent there for a number years. She recently passed away. Her niece, Elaine West has fond childhood memories of riding the train from Fayette to Burton to visit her aunt. |
