| This 1953 photo was donated by, and the comments below are by Gary Roe. Cairo is at Mile Post 153.7 on the Wabash 15th District Main Line between Moberly and Moulton, Iowa; 6.6 miles north of Moberly. The photographer is looking due north, and U.S. Highway 63 is on his right in this view from 1953. As you can see, there's not much room between the tracks and the highway for the station. |
