| This photo was donated by, and the comments below are by Gary Roe. This is the Cassville depot of the Cassville & Exeter Railroad. Note the '39 or '40 Ford up on blocks on the far side of the station. The C&E ran between its namesake towns (about 4 miles), and connected with the Frisco's line from Monett to Rogers, Arkansas at Exeter. The C&E was abandoned long ago, and this Frisco line is now part of the Arkansas & Missouri. |
