Boone MKT Restaurant

Here is information on this Depot furnished by Mark Davidson;
This Columbia depot is the former Missouri Kansas and Texas (MKT). It was located on their Northern Division, St. Louis Subdivision, Columbia Branch. The branch connected to the south to their east / west main line on the north side of the Missouri River. The 8 mile branch line was abandoned in 1978. The "river line" St. Louis Subdivision mail line was abandoned in 1986. Their former main is now the KATY Trail. The Wabash entered Columbia on a branch line from the north. These two railroad lines were both stub branches and the two lines did not have a physical connection.
