| This 1926 photo of the Delmar Depot was contributed by James Wilson. Thanks Jim. The following comments are his. This photo gives a very clear impression of how the Wabash line, the trolley line, and Delmar Blvd. were laid out, something that isn't at all clear from the other photos we've found. Delmar is the street (dirt?) that runs left and right across the photo; the Wabash line runs diagonally from lower left to upper right, disappearing behind the Pevely Milk billboard on the right, behind the front of the trolley car. The trolley is inbound, from University City to St. Louis City. |
