| This 1944 photo of the Ellendale Depot was contributted by Ralph Knost. Thanks Ralph. The following comments are his. Ellendale was a stop on the M.P. commuter train (THE PLUG) with ran from Pacific to St. Louis Union St. It passed thru Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Maplewood and the next stop before Tower Grove was Ellendale. It was not a town but a intersection of two streets in the western part of St. Louis and right next Maplewood, Ellendale & Southwest. |
