| This photo was donated by, and the comments below are by Gary Roe. The photographer was facing northwest. Gilmore is on the Wabash 14th District main line between Saint Louis and Moberly at Mile Post 41.1 (about 2.5 miles east of Wentzville). This area is where the new GM plant is. Note the box cars in the background of the picture. They are setting on the interchange track between the Wabash and the StL&H. The StL&H main line is curving to the north behind the depot at this point. |
