This 1900s photo of the Hannibal Union Depot was contributed by Rick Morgan.    Thanks Rick. The following comments are his.
Hannibal Union Station, I'm guessing around 1900. This view is looking roughly north-northeast with CB&Q tracks running along the north side and across Main Street. Union Station was opened about 1883 and served the CB&Q (H&StJ), Wabash and MKT through its years. The depot had tracks on the north and south side while the east side had four stub tracks (at least that's what a 1915 plat map shows). The tower was removed about 1910 and replaced with a simple, low pitch conical roof section; the building itself was demolished in 1953 and replaced by the CB&Q with a one-story brick building that opened in 1954 at the same location. (this is the one that still stands)
