| This 1960 photo of the Jefferson City Freight Depot came from a portion of Richard Nappers photo on the Jefferson City depot page. The Freight Depot was brought to my attention by Charles Duckworth. Thanks Charles. The following comments are his. This is where less-than-carload was spotted and the yard office was upstairs. It was originally a board & batten building and was covered in asbestos siding during or directly after WWII. I worked out of this office in the mid-1970's and it was tore down probably in the 1980's. |
