| This 2003 photo of the Kansas City Union Station was contributed by Al Hermans Thanks Al. The following comments are by Roy Inman. "The twelve founding railroads were: Union Pacific, Missouri Pacific, Frisco, Wabash, Chicago & Alton (then shortly the GM&O), Santa Fe, Chicago Great Western (as opposed to the Chicago North Western), MKT, KCS, Rock Island, CB&Q and Milwaukee Road (Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific)".
