| Aug 17, 2009, I received the following comments from Tammy Parker-Walker. I was browsing the web and found your site. I thought you might be interested to know that our Train Depot has been restored... no more white paint on the bricks. It is now living out it's life as Kearney's VFW Hall, after they added a medium sized room on the end for meetings, dinners, ect. The wood trim is, of course, painted, other than that and the addition, I believe it looks almost better than it did when first built. Kearney is slowly aquiring items from the Depot to display there, or in our small city museum. Thank you Tammy. |
