New Madrid Union Station Gone

This 1908 photo of the Lilbourn Depot was contributed by William Bunch.    Thanks Bill. The following comments are his.
Technically, this was a Union depot. It served both the Cotton Belt and Frisco. References show it as a joint depot. I suspect, even though it doesn't show well, the building was an L shape like most of these "crossover" depots. This view clearly shows the Cotton Belt influence with the chopped off gable and the diamond gable vent. We haven't been able to find documentation that it ever had an E in the name, the spelling on the one photo is probably an error.
