| This photo was donated by, and the comments below are by Gary Roe. Macon was at Mile Post 170.4 on the Wabash 15th District Main Line between Moberly and Moulton, Iowa; 22.6 miles north of Moberly. The photographer is looking northeasterly. Moulton is to the left, Moberly to the right. The CB&Q crossed under the Wabash just a short distance south of this location. A transfer track between the two roads went behind this station, down to the elevation of the Burlington. |
