| This 2009 Photo was contributed by Ruth Keenoy. Thanks Ruth. The following comments are hers. I think that things will be good for the Marthasville depot - the Chamber of Commerce and City have received some grant funding to restore the depot and they want to add the original passenger wing back to the building that was removed in the late 1950s. The depot is going to stay by the tracks/Katy Trail and will only be moved a short distance to get the building in an area that is accessible to tourists. Right now, it's surrounded by equipment and grain bins. |
