| This photo was donated by, and the comments below are by Gary Roe. Maryville was on a CB&Q branch line that ran from the main line at Creston, Iowa, south thru Maryville, to the main line running up the east side of the Missouri River at Amazonia. Their track passed under the Wabash main less than a half a mile north of this location. This is obviously not the original station. The Q built a lot of these little asbestos shingled depots; but I don't know what era they are from. Probably the 40's. |
