| This 1910 photo of the Montrose Depot Fire was donated by Kenneth Bird. Thanks Ken. The following comments are his. On June 4, 1910 at 4:30 AM lightening struck the MKT depot at Montrose MO. The operator got out and was not injured but the structure was a total loss. This photo was found in the files of the Clinton Democrat and should be credited to that paper. Some unknown photographer caught the action. -K.L. Bird collection. |
