| This photo was donated by, and the comments below are by Gary Roe. this photo was taken in 1955 shortly after the station was built, and the photographer was facing northwesterly. This depot is the first one to be built by the Wabash using this particular architecture and construction method (precast concrete). New Florence is on the Wabash 14th District main line between Saint Louis and Moberly at Mile Post 77.8. This station was still standing in 1981; but was not in use and totally gutted. |
