| This 2010 photo of the Rich Hill Depot was contributed by Bob King. Thanks Bob. The following comments are his. Frisco Rich Hill depot East main line side and south end. Depot has been on fire inside and damaged. I had opportunity to go inside of depot. The wood floor is gone and replaced with concrete. Probably done when the elevator had building, gutted except a square office about 10' by 10' probably freight office - 2 x 4's laid flat, building is full of stuff and hard to see features or evidence of layout, fire damage is heavy on the inside and extensive. the roof has heat damage and is weakened on the north end to the point that the sheet metal is gone and more will blow off. depot is inhabited by a inventor. Depot is on the southwest corner of W. Railroad and E. Maple St. View is south freight end and east main line side ( Main line was actually a stub track ), the lower roof may be a addition. There was a track on the west side that was a team or house track and also served the grain elevator. |
