| These 1915 and 2005 photos of the St. Louis MKT Freight Station were contributed by Doug Lee. Thanks Lee. The following comments are his; The building just feels historic when you walk in it and our maintenance man thinks it's haunted. (in a good way... we think.) I spend many late nights here and there are strange sounds and happenings all the time. Some of my employees say they hear doors shutting even when they know no one is in the building. I must say you do feel an odd presence when you are in the building. I'm guessing the number of people that have worked here over the years must be in the thousands. |
