This 1900s photo of the Versailles Depot was contributed by Rodger McKinney.    Thanks Rodger. The following comments are his.
This branch line started at Boonville, Missouri through Speed, Missouri to Bunceton, Missouri-Versailles, Missouri and south to Fortuna, Missouri where the company ran out of money far from the shores of the Pacific Ocean where the end of the line was proposed. The Missouri Pacific bought the line. I had a local rail buff in Versailles, tell me there was a hand turn turntable at Versailles on this line.
